Good Day,

I was having a conversation with a federal LEO of my acquaintance, and he mentioned how he has been hearing a great deal about small bent handled and T handled knives for weapon retention and as clinch picks...

What all knives like that, are there out there?

Which ones are popular?

Thank you in advance,
Marion

Kabar TDI. Got one... The knife is fine for its purpose, but I hate the metal clip that I got with it, so it sits in a drawer.

T-Handle knives must be referring to "push knives" like Cold Steel sells I think?

They're about impossible to get away from someone's grip as long as his hand is clenched.

I carried a Ka-Bar TDI, mine didn't have the metal clip though, just a basic plastic one. My under belt slid through it and my black gear sandwiched it. They became pretty popular on my department. I believe they have a red handle trainer now too? Overall it was a pretty comfortable knife and its offered in a variety of sizes. I carried mine for a support side draw but was accessable by my stronghand too. Push daggers were not allowed per our SOP.
