I have a customer that buys one knife off of me a year. He doesn't tell me what he wants, and he really doesn't care about the price. He gives me total free riegn to do what I want. The only rule is. Each knife has to be better than the last. Pretty sweet deal really. This is the sixth knife I've made for him, and while its not the most visually pleasing knife I've made him. The beauty is in the materials. It has a 5in. Blade double hollow ground made from Wayne Mimms damascus from Titus Alabama. The gaurd and pommel is mokume and the handle and sheath insert is curly maple. As far as the heart in the ricasso. Some poeple give me a little flack over it. The reason is to equal out the good and the bad. The deadlyness of the dagger, opposed to what the heart symbolizes. The ying and the yang concept. Anyway. I hope you all enjoy it. Thanks for your intrest. Comments welcome and appreciated.
