I'm looking to change mobile phone services so I did some research today. One unit that really caught my eye was the Sidekick from T-mobile. It's got a little keyboard and a decent-size screen for a pocket-size device and you can do e-mail on it. The keyboard is bigger and somewhat more usable than a Blackberry.

Anyone have one? How do you like it?

Been using it for over a year, and the only things I don't like about it is the weak battery, lack of SMTP email account support (which forces me to set up a rule in my Outlook to route my emails to my Sidekick), and the fact that the camera attachment is pretty worthless. Otherwise it works as advertised. You can use it as a phone, PIM, Web browser (no WAP limitations, as I can fully post to Bladeforums from it), AOL email and IM, and up to 3 POP email accounts (aside from the one that comes with the service, I also have 2 of my other POP3 accounts going there.) Oh, and a headset is advisable as holding the unit to the ear gets pretty tiresome.

Only one Sidekick user here? Wow.

But a strong endorsement from Tony. Thanks. I haven't made my mind up yet.
