T1000 V2 gritty lock?

I have one of the newer T1000 V2 models. The secondary button locks are extremely tough to operate, whether open or closed. They feel gritty.
I've dripped a little gun-oil into those areas, and it does absolutely nothing to help.

Anyone else experience this? Any remedies? I realize that what's inside there is a tiny set of little gears, and very thin pieces, so I don't want it to get worse, if parts are rubbing with too much friction.

Thanks.

Sorry you didn't get an answer. Mine is smooth and easy to operate. I'd contact the retailer.

If that fails, there is an aftermarket anodizer who can take these apart. He might help.

Same. Mine was really tough to operate, and far from smooth. I tried gun lube, here and there, with no perceived improvement. However...I put the knife away for a number of months, and when I next grabbed it, those locks felt much lighter, and less gritty. I have zero idea why that would be the case. It's back in the factory box, in a drawer, so not sure if that is still the case, as of this moment.
