T6 Screws needed for a Kershaw Skyline

New to the forum and not sure if this is where I post this, but my brand new Kershaw Skyline is in need of all new screws. I tried to reverse the pocket clip and a very tight T6 screw head got boogered up. Actually, all of the screws came out with a T7 wrench, but the heads got a bit chewed up. Not only does it look unappealing, but they snag.

Unfortunately I don't know the thread size or where to buy them. Anyone with info would be greatly appreciated.

Step 1. But proper torx bits, preferably Wiha.

Step 2. Contact Kershaw and request some.

Just call Kershaw and they will send you new screws for free. I also agree with Scurvy092 when he says get a WiHa set. Once I invested in a Wiha set I stopped stripping screws. The T6 sets they sell at most big box stores just suck when used on knives. They strip stuff out all the time.

+1

Got a whole set of screws from Kershaw. They have great customer service. And what a difference the Wiha T6 Screwdriver makes. Taking the Husky back.

Thanks guys!

Has anyone used Kershaws new "TX-Tool"?

I just got mine a few days ago. So far seem as good as my wiha's.

I finally snagged one of Kershaw's new "TX-Tool"... I don't have a 'Wiha' to compare it to, but definitely a few steps above my "Husky" from Home Depot (which worked fine, for me anyways). :)

Nice 'all metal' construction, able to grip solid, and the tips fit snugly in the few knives I tried it on.

Mucho better than the old Kershaw tool (no wonder you could get one for free).

Edit: Here's a quick comparison shot...
