Good day guys,
was wondering if someone may have an idea.
So I have BM Volli I love this knife.
I wanted to customize it a bit with bronze/brass kinda look of hardware.
My problem is I am stumped when it comes to the screws. The ones it comes with are black oxidized (I believe)
I've talked to Benchmade costumer support and seems they make these screws in house so couldn't tell me the threads.
I have an extra set of screws and have tried some paint stripper and sand paper on a few of them in hopes I could just heat them up to a bronze color.
Got them red hot stopped cooled repeated 2-3 times ultimately they never got to a good bronze color at all.
Does anyone know if any other screw's could work. even though they make them there self is their a chance that its a standard thread?
Any thoughts comments are welcome.
side note: Axis lock and clip bronzed great with heat if anyones interested.
