I have a Tac Force 469 model. Was given it as a gift. I've heard a lot of negative stuff about Tac Force. Is it worth keeping?

No. This is a $10ish assisted knife in "stainless steel". The steel is probably 3Cr13 and won't hold an edge anywhere near as long as the 8Cr13Mov you'll find on knives that cost just a little more. It's nice that somebody thought of you but it's effectively a piece of novelty junk.

Respect and kudos to the person who gave it to you. Keep it: to honor that friendship.

Some of the comments here make me feel like a grouch. I guess a key question here is who gave it to you and the kind of relationship you have.

I'm known for liking knives and EDC gear. For some of the non-knife people, that means I'm just a guy who likes that sort of thing. If a gift occasion comes up, they'll head down to the local Walmart or whatever and grab an Ozark Trail. Another route is if they get a knife from wherever and end up re-gifting or saving it for me. Sometimes, this works out. Usually, it means stuff like the knife in question here.

I will graciously accept the gift and thank the person for their thought. That is genuine and I truly appreciate the thought. However, the stuff is still junk relative to what I already have (in great abundance) and often by orders of magnitude. I used to leave these junkers hanging around for junk chores. Then, stuff like this started accumulating in a box. The junk box gets sorted into tiers, the 5Cr15 from the 3Cr13, etc... I started taking opportunities to give them out to responsible young people or teaching people to sharpen, etc. I've even left a few of these in places to recreate "found treasure" moments from my youth for others.

The “found treasure” part is amazing because I know what you meant and fully endorse that as I was a very curious teenager who treasured finding items out on my adventures. But it also made me laugh as I immediately conjured up an image of a toddler finding an Mtech under the seat of a swing set

Care is obviously required.
