Tachynid modern sword

Nice! Left you a comment there. I can't say as how I'm particularly fond of the Turk's head knot design, but considering it was requested to be low profile, i think you did an outstanding job. Looks nice and clean, and the scabbard looks great too.
 
I don't know how you did it, a 36" sword with a 1/4" spine at two pounds. It's light as a feather! Looks good!
 
I was a little surprised at the low mass too! Lots of tapers in it.

The Turk's head is functional as a hand stop, more so IMO than most metal guards... but of course it's not a true guard for a sword.
