Just received come comments from Joe Houser
"The button height has been increased due to concerns like yours. It is a delicate balancing act to make the button high enough for ease of use but low enough so you accidentally release the blade lock while
in use. The new button should be an improvement."

Thanks to Joe for the quick response and move to quickly improve the product.

Best Regards,
Scott

I was looking at an ad for the TacLite, and being a lefty was concerned about that button. Not only would it be nearly impossible to operate with the sinister hand, but would also be positioned right where the pad below my forefinger would be, I think, making it susceptible to accidental activation. Can anyone who has actually seen one comment on this?

Peace, Al Folsom

Actually, I had very little trouble operating it with my left hand. I found that using the left forefinger to push the lock was the natural thing to do and it worked very well.

I don't know how you would hold the knife but in my grip, there was no problem with accidental activation. I was able to operate the knife very well with either hand.

I'm right handed, BTW.
