I made another sheath for the NASK. This time a 'taco-style' sheath. Like a previously made sheath, the knife can be carried using either frog or sash carry.
There is a static line on the sheath and I used a big 'sling' stud again. Ive like the latter since I saw them on Bill Bagwell sheaths (not that my sheaths compares). It offers very positive retention of the sheath on the belt and suit medium to large sheaths well IMO.
Yellow cord on strap is elastic and pulls the retention strap out of the way and back, so it doent tangle with the edge. Makes it a breeze to withdraw and re-insert the HDFK.

Ive used the sheath a fair bit and it works a charm. Its so convenient to just grab the HDFK and sash carry it on for example a belt over my smock or the like.

Thread with another style frog sheath and also a sheath using the static line concept on the belt further down the thread.

Thx, the different carry options work well for me and I heartedly recommend you get a similar one made but even if I upgraded my membership, I dont consider my sheaths up to the standard of some here and I dont sell them.
Ive made a few sheaths and axe head covers for friends but never earned any money on them. If they paid anything, it was only for materials, as I just make leather sheaths for fun. It started, when I wasnt happy with a factory sheath and made my own.

How ever, if you want a sheath like it in design, you can just contact one of the excellent custom leather makers here on the forum and have them make a similar sheath. The sheath is fairly straightforward to make and is of an old tried and true design (it not something, I came up with). Adding a frog is the least of it.
