So I already posted a link to the following website under 42Blades Billhook thread. However, I felt it was relevant here and wanted to give you guys a heads up if you havn't already seen it. I just came across this site yesterday after reading Evian's recent posts about Self Reliance Essentials Tomahawks.

Their Secretary concept looks like a tactical billhook, and seems pretty promising/refreshing to me. I imagine it has all sorts of applications. What do you all think.

For further history/information on billhooks here's 42's thread. http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...s-The-Forgotten-Choppers-of-the-Western-World

I think it could work well. Although I have never liked the word "tactical".

Pitch forks and bill hooks have been used for thousands of years by farmers.... in a "tactical" role when needed.

Looks awesome to me in terms of the blade...but I would make a few change to the grip to make it more "flip friendly." I don't see it being too comfy if held pick-forward, and the finger notches would likely cause hot spots and limit gripping options. Great geometry on the hook, though!
