I made this yesterday from a Cold Steel AK-47 and a Husky utility knife. Gave it a work out at work today, mostly drywall and de-burring pvc. No hiccups and I like the full size but slimmer and lighter handle compared to full size utility knives. Anyways I thought you guys might get a kick out of it.

They've been around for a while now.

I know, I've tried every one I could get my hands on. Just weekend tinkering.

I've got the balisong one and it works great. Have been using it a lit over this winter. Have been fixing the insulation and sealing gaps behind the fire place and it has worked great cutting dry wall and everything else. It's a pretty cool little thing.

Where can you get the Balisong one? Who makes it? I want it.

I got mine at Gibralter un Michigan. What Gibralter pretty much is is a giant flee market in a building. I got mine for about $20 with out haggling. It's only Chinese mqde though. It's actually pretty decent for being Chinese. The handles are beafy and can hold up to the stress. The pins are huge as well which adds to their strength. I thinly for a long bladeHQ or bladeOps (some store like that) had them in stock. Just do a search. Should be able to find one somewhere. If nothing else, I could pick you up one next time I go and I could just send it to you.

I have never seen one of these before. Too cool. Looks like you did a great job.

I checked around and right now have only been able to find them on those whole sale Chinese sites. They used to have them at smokey mountain knife. but i checked and there all out. Take one of those sites as you may. Offer still stands if you dont get one from online. it may just be a little bit.
