Hey blade brothers, my little brother is an active member of the Army Rangers. He can be hard to get a hold of. I asked him what kind of knife and multi tool he was issued. He finally responded. A Gerber MT (ugh) not sure of the model but does it matter? It's a Gerber, and the give him a new one on demand. The only knife besides on the MT is a Tactical Combat Tools "Draco". He's got 1/75 Not that it matters but it's kind of cool. The knife is a recurve made of CPM-D2. I'm going to try to post a picture. Does TCT have a decent reputation? Is CPM-D2 tough? It sounds great but I don't know anything about metallurgy and you guys do.
I'm going to consider sending him a LM MT most likely a Rebar. Should I just let him blow through the Gerbers or send him a LM? If the knife is sub par I'll send him something I trust. Any and all input is appreciated!
