The goal of the Stinger project is to bring together as many styles as possible within the same knife template. They range from basic drop points to tacti-cool recurve tantos. Despite their differences, every Stinger is aimed at being a useful and pocket-able fixed blade with luxury finishes and styling. Given those criteria, it became obvious to me that I should build the epitome of useful blade shapes, the drop point, and pair it with a bolstered handle. An orange paper Micarta bolster and black G-10 handle scale create a classic color combo, and the black liner running under the orange Micarta ties the bolster and scale together cleanly. This knife has a fully rounded handle that works well with its classic styling, and provides excellent comfort in hand.
