This is a 'Worker Bee' Stinger I finished a few days ago.

The Stingers are an art project of mine. Given that, I'm letting myself have a lot of fun with the builds. On this build, I decided to do a spin off of the classic working knife idea. Natural canvas Micarta and a drop point blade with plenty of belly give this knife excellent performance characteristics, and a nice working knife feel. Given the model's name being Stinger, I decided to go with a bee theme. I contoured the front of the handle scales to look like the corner of a honey comb. I matched this angular look on the rest of the scales with 'Engineered' contouring. Though honey colored already, I felt that the handles needed to have a more fluid feel. To do this I did a 'Drip Drop' pattern on the flats of the handle. With it's thinly ground blade and hand fitting handle, this knife is ready to fly through any cutting task with ease.

Specs:

Blade - .1875" O-1 Tool Steel blade at 61 HRC with satin finished beveled and flats

Blade Length - 3.5"

Overall Length - 7"

Spine - Fully rounded and polished spine

Tang - Polished full tang

Handle - 'Worker Bee' Handles ('Honey Comb' front contouring, 'Engineered' contouring and 'Drip Drop' Pattern flats)

Sheath - Take apart Tek-Lok compatible Kydex sheath
