Hey Guys,

I have a partner with an RMJ Forge Talon that is a pretty amazing piece of gear (at least it looks amazing). It does not appear to be available these days. I am looking for a tactical hawk. Use will be breaching doors, heavy chopping, braking windows...I can't imagine a scenario where I will be throwing it (thats what Glocks are for).

My options apear to be Hays and ATC, and the Rangerknives Hawk. Is there a lick of difference between Hays and ATC? Both are about the same cost, and even look alike. Apparently they used to work together? The Rangerknives hawk looks cool, but what do you guys think?

I am partial to the looks of the all steal, one piece hawks, but looks don't matter at all. Performance is everything. I don't know a thing about these, so I would love to get some feedback.

Thanks,

Damien

welcome KTR03 aka Damien these forums hold lots of advice on the questions you have my advice would be to read back posts or do a serch on this site
I'm sure you will find what your looking for btw my glock 22 .40 was great but UK laws:confused: had me hand it in to the gov for no good reason as it never stopped anyone getting shot:rolleyes:
HAYS ARE GOOD AS ARE ATC AND RANGERKNIFE'S
Anything from these makers will be of good quality
good luck

I have an ATC Ranger Spike and VTAC. Both are very nice; but I believe the VTAC will be more suitable to your purposes. I have beaten the snot out of mine and it still looks brand new. Holds a working edge like no other chopper I own.

Hayes makes great stuff, but I don't own any so I cannot comment on personal experiences with them.

Everything Ranger Knives makes if top notch. The Entry Tool they offer looks to fit your needs to a 'T'.

Thanks,
Gerry
