Tactical in a different style

This is a tactical style knife I finished the other day. Blade is 1060.4340 ladder damascus. handle is curly red ivory from an off cut I found in a wood scrap pile.

OAL 280mm
Blade 165mm x 5mm x 45mm (widest point)
Handle 115mm x 20mm (widest)
Fully hardened and tempered with deep etch. Handle fixed with mosaic pins and brass lanyard hole.

The leafy shape of the balde seems a link from the Greeks to our times. Very effective and scary I suppose...
