Just came across this. I understand a TSA compliant version is currently under production.

I think it's kind of "gimmicky".

Not as bad as the built in stun gun iPhone case I found at Academy, it's pink though.

It's kind of nice, when they steal your phone, that they get something extra.

If it has something to stop the NSA from recording the incoming and outgoing destination of my calls then I will buy it :)
 
And does it protect the phone if the liquid fizzes out onto the apple? What an horrible design!
 
Seems alright. They claim that it uses a 440C blade. I think it'd be pretty handy if you don't already carry a knife on you. The Hawkbill blade should be good for cutting cord and boxes and using an iPhone as a handle doesn't seem like it'd be all that uncomfortable either.
 
I wonder how many people will stab themselves in the face when they go to put the phone up to their ear and the blade is still deployed.
 
I'm trying to take this in. Not sure what to think about this. At first I'm thinking what's the point, I like carrying a separate knife. After thinking about it, it could be kinda neat in a gadgety sort of way. It depends how strong the case is. I can't immediately think of a use for it other than showing my friends and saying "Check this out!". I think I'll wait until they add a firestarter and knife sharpener to it. Then I'll think about getting one. Maybe add a hot plate to fry bacon too?
