I've noticed alot of tactical knives have the handles bolted on what type of bolts or screws are these and could someone direct me to where to buy them.
Thanks a million

Try http://www.microfasteners.com/ They have excellent prices and pretty much any size you could want. You could also go with Chicago screws from any of the knife supply houses, but personally on a tactical I prefer a nice torx or hex socket head inset into the handle. But that's my preference.

By the way, I love your style. I'm doing some with what I call a "rustic" finish. I think it's actually more difficult to get that aged look than just polishing the dang blades!

some are chainring bolts. like those used in bicycle chains.

I use 6-32 SS Torx screws I buy from knifekits.com and a threaded standoff inside to screw them into. Works well for thinner than 3/16" blades.
