I just recieved my new issue of Tactical Knives magazine and opened it up to an article called "Tools for Surviving Hostile Territory". Low and behold it's a article on the RAT HEST and the Fire Kit. They did a great review on the HEST and the Fire Kit, how they perform, and how the the 2 products combined with the E/E Survival Kit would compliment each other to get you through any hostile enviroments or survival situations. I just wanted to say congats on the spead and keep up the great work!!!:D

I heard a rumor that Jeff did a review of a TOPS knife but I have not not picked up a copy up yet. (No intentions to hijack)

Yeah, I just got the March 2010 (it's November 2009, right?)issue of Tactical Knives too.

Nice to see RAT Cutlery and Rowen and RYP get some more press.

I never got my copy so I will go to the book store and pick it up. I'm suppose to have an article in there on a Surefire knife. Was that in there?

Thanks Bear Claw. We cut a lot of C4 with that Surefire!

Yeah, that Surefire article was really good. Good job on the photos too Jeff. Plus you got yourself in one of those!!

I like that the Edge has the hex openings.

I read that Surefire article and really likes it but never looked at who wrote it. Dumb! I thought that maybe Jeff did write it, but then forgot to go back and look at who authored it. It was a very well writen article Jeff!!!

I got mine a few weeks ago. Great magazine, the Surefire knife article had great pictures. Ruben did some great writing on the HEST. Joe did a nice writeup on Ranger Knives as well....

Overall it was another great issue!! TK and SWAT are 2 rags I look very forward to in my mailbox.

I really liked the P.J. Tomes new machete article by Steven Dick and I just got through reading the last review Steven did on the last P.J. tomes machete a couple of years ago. Joe and those Rangers, I am jealous. Jeff, as always, manages to review the most down to earth useable gear!
What an action packed issue!

EDITED: Got to thinking about my post and decided to edit it out. It's one of those deals that if you don't have something good to say, it shouldn't be said. Should have not posted what I did.

Sounds like I'll need to find a copy to read. Thanks for the heads up.

BTW Jeff you are awesome!! I love the fact that even though you design knives, you review and use other peoples designs. Have thought this for quite a while and figured I should come out and say it. Good job!!

I think there are a lot of companies out there that have better designs than our own. Hell, we're very objective about this. Use what works and fits. I will not review a knife for TK unless I like it. And I have turned down a lot of knives, but there's a lot of nice stuff out there and when I like something I let people know about it.

What a dick.... I dont know why people need to be like that. Lots of machismo in this game....

Ruben- Nice to see ya back for a bit bro. Gimme a ring, or drop me a line before your off again.
