This is the only Becker I have, but I love it. However, I haven't taken much of a liking to neck carry, or belt carry, so my necker is a back pocket knife. The idea of one-handed access has always appealed to me, so I thought I would try to make a leather sheath with a thumb ramp. Well I made the sheath too snug a fit for that. When I put it in my back pocket, it was basically impossible to grab one-handed. That bummed me out, because it took me a whole hour to put this thing together:rolleyes:
So just for the hell of it, a tried just grabbing the knife by the butt and pulling it out.
Success!!

So I present to you: a tactically waved for to help with efficient dispatching of mail and taters and beer bottles sheath.

p.s. sorry about the poor picture... Haven't seen the sun all day.

Nice. I wonder if gluing some 40 grit sand paper to the outside of the sheath would help as well. It might eat your pockets over time, but I'm sure it'd help to hold the sheath in there too.

Heck maybe try some inner tube as the rubber on those would tend to "grab" on a pocket pretty good I would think.

Awesome set up guy!

Although I'm having a hard time getting my head around this sentence
"a tactically waved for to help with efficient dispatching of mail and taters and beer bottles sheath."

it gets harder to understand the more I attempt to understand it.

It's pretty clear to me. :D

A sheath that is 'tactically' waved which helps to efficiently (one handed) produce the tool to open mail, cut taters and open beer bottles.

That's exactly what I thought when I typed it.
How 'bout this: A tactically waved (to make it easier to get the knife so that I can open mail, chop taters, and open beer) sheath.
Like folding knives with a "wave" opening that are specified as combat or self-defense knives because of quick access.
Just kinda making a little fun of the whole "tactical" concept.

Try english, leave off the PHd sounding bs and try it again. "tactically waved" wtf?

Ok, now you lost me. I just threw together a sheath with an experimental thumb ramp. That didn't turn out how I wanted, but it turns out that it works just fine as a pocket snag("wave"), so that is what it has become. The BK11 is not a tactical knife, nor is a traditional pouch style leather sheath with a slight modification. It seemed funny when I thought of it.

I understand you, the loop thing catches your pocket as you remove the knife. This shucks the sheath off. Pretty clever, I like it.

A youtube video will help some people understand, or draw a big picture using crayons.;)
