Bushman5, where are you at??? :D

I'd like to buy a few pouches -sm, md, lrg- to hold some wilderness tools/items. And could use some opinions. For belt carry mainly.

Maxpedition waist "packs"- their small ones are nice to hold a small amount of kit, as is their Anemone and Barnacle (they can be attached to belt via malice clips)

it never ceases to amaze how much stuff (w/ a little planning and a little trial/error) those little pouches can hold :)

Maxped is what everyone suggests here but they have become so big and popular most of their retail prices are just as high as TAD, Tactical Tailor, Eberlestock and some of the other companies that make their stuff here in the USA. I have the TAD OP1 pouch on my Eberle Phantom and it's awesome for small survival tools or a PSK, very well organized. I'd stay away from the cheap milsurp store style stuff...

hey Bro!

check out the 5.11 6x6 med pouch, you can belt carry it with a fixed blade behind it, and there are two ZIPPERED compartments for your woods gear.

cheap price, lifetime warranty, BOMBPROOF sewing.

i'll get pics up when i find em......got about 900,000 pics to wade thru....:D

countycomm sells one that I really like for ultralight use:

But the truth is I stand by leather. And prefer a shoulder bag overall. (I do have a countycomm EOD bag as an around town shoulder bag at this point and am using it to figure out how I want to do my next possibles bag.)

best part is you can put FOUR of them onto a standard GI belt , with room for a canteen or two.......... :)
