The latest batch of koa-clad Tactical Orange Peelers. 4"-ish overall length with just sub-2" blades. Flat grinds. 1095 with Japanese style clay heat treat. Stainless steel hardware on both of these. Enjoy!

Those are some mighty-fine little knives!

Out of curiosity, what kind of sheaths do you use for them? Neck or belt?

Thanks for showing these little beauties.

Thanks, PH! The sheaths are my standard multicarry affair. They work vertical, horizontal (this is a nice knife to carry horizontal) or 45° on the right or left side without or without a belt, and they are drilled for a neck cord if you want. I think these knives are a bit bulky and heavy for neck carry, personally. Here are sheath pics:

The evolution of your Tac-peelers is most pleasing. Love that Koa wood. Looks like they have very thin edges too. Looking forward to your next series. Jason.

Jason, ironically the edges have been getting thicker and thicker, but just in the middle. When my grinds looks more like round grinds rather than flat grinds, that's when I found out my platen was totally dished out! That happened much faster than I expected. My latest knives have taken twice as long to make because of correcting that dishing, and I thought it was my Grind Fu was just getting worse. Stupid platen!
