Hey All,

A fellow forum member and customer ask me to post a pic of this combo he has put together. He already owned the Brend, and recently ordered a D TAC II Sp in S30V from me. We finished off the D TAC with Tungsten DLC coating from Bodycote. We then had a double shoulder harness rig made for the pair by Robert at Survival Sheath Systems! The shoulder rig is a very comfortable mode of carry under a vest or jacket, with a very low print factor. He is right-handed and will wear the D TAC on the left and the Brend on the right.

He really wanted versatility in the his carry options and also had the Van Cook Cross Trainer made by Robert also, for the D TAC. It is a great carry under something as light as a tee-shirt, riding right on the breast bone, again with a very low print factor. I could not help myself and had to try it on when it arrived. With just an untucked shirt on, you could not even tell it was there!

I do have some other pics if interested, I just did not want to hog all the server space.

I think he is ready for the bad guys:)

All the best,
David Dempsey

Awesome sheaths for sure!
Blades aren't bad either. I would be interested in seeing the whole rig. I like the way they are attached.

Cool David! Haven't seen you post in a little while. It is good to see some new pictures!!! Keep up the good work!!!:) I can't wait to see how the S.O.R.T knives turn out!!!:D

Good stuff Mr. David!!! Looks like the Brend is in good company ;) :D
I'm looking forward to the release of the new BattleGear lineup.
Stay Safe,
Clyde

Here is better pic of D TAC II showing how nice the Tungsten DLC coating is. I really like it, and have several customers who had their knives coated with it, and the feedback is great. The coating seems to be be really "scratch" proof.

Appreciate the comments guy's. The Battle gear knife line will be on public display at the NY Show coming up Nov 1st. It should be fun!

Regards,

David

Hey Robert forgot to mention that you can see the sheath rigs on Survival Sheaths web site.

My customer also had a kydex holster for his Surefire MT3 combat light to rig to the double shoulder harness or to accept a tek-lok for belt wear!

Mr. Dempsey is really making some great stuff. Everyone should own at least one or two of his blades.
Now we can send our flashlights to him for some custom sheath work.:D
