Tactical Pen vs Security

Sorry in advance, don't know where to put this thread if it's in the wrong area. Anyway, I am going to a hockey game and I'm not sure if my Smith and Wesson Tactical Pen will set off the metal detectors. I went through security at a football game but they just had the handheld wand things that didn't set off. Will the walk through ones freak? And will security freak if it does go off?

If it's made out of metal there's a good chance it will set of the metal detector. If it looks like a weapon then security might forbid you to enter with it and you would be required to walk back to your car and stand in line all over agin. Either that or give up the pen or throw it in the trash. No one here can say for certain how sensitive the metal detectors are set at or how security will react. If you don't want to take the chance of not being allowed in with a particular object, then leave it in your car, or at home.
