Found and purchased this battery case and pouch. I keep AA's in my pack for my Fenix, and hate them in there loose. These are made by Condor:

The two halves slide in half. The idea is, that the fresh batteries go in the light side, and the spent ones go in the dark side:

All in all, a nice little set in the $20 range. The pouch is heavy duty. The battery case itself isn't too bad, but I worry about the hinge wearing out over time. I guess the bright side is that you don't have to access batteries that often. BTW, this case holds up to 8 AA's (If you store in both sides), 12 AAA's, or 8 CR123's. Of course, you could always carry multiples of each. Thanks for looking.

get the powerpax.net aa carriers - there's no hinge that'll wear out.

Had those bookmarked, but ended up with this. I wasn't thinking about the hinge when I purchased it.

You've got your batteries in upside down. There's a place in the bottom of that carrier for the heads of AA batteries.

Didn't even notice it, but you are correct. Well, I had a 50/50 shot, and I blew it, haha.

Hi Warrior, looks like a nice case, i have their 3 day bag and love it, looking to get more Condor accessories.

I had a condor bag I gave to my son, and another small pouch by them, all well made.

Nice post man thanks! I have been looking for a better battery carry system for my rechargeables.
