Anyone ever hear of the "Tactical Ranger" ?

Apparently it was a special "black bladed" NW Ranger, it even came in a bead blast. (Sorry, no pic just a link telling about it)

I did a little looking around and found a pic of the bead-blast version, but I couldn't find anything on the Black-coated version.

According to the link, the black blade was a special request option for an already unusual variant.

I wonder if the SOG Tactical logo was re-done in contrasting white on the blackened blades?

Need to be punished... no, but you will be...
I think you can mention there is one for sale, if you think it will be of general interest, as long as you are not the seller or suggestring someone bid.
It becomes a slippery slope, and we poor moderators are wearing skis...
