A gift for a friend who helped me out, 6" blade, 1/16th stock ATS-34, Canvas micarta handle, stainless pins, kydex sheath. Cuts like crazy, but the next one will be made of 1/8" stock for a bit more weight, I think.

Those tomatoes will never know what hit them ! 1/16inch zips through vegies really quick. Looks like you didn't have too many issues with warpage ... Jason.

Thanks fellas. Jason, I've had plenty of problems with warpage on 1/16th stock, and I really hate it! However, knowing this, I jsut profiled and drilled the pin holes befor heat treat with this one, and ground the bevels post heat treat. Took a bit longer, but not as long as trying to staighten a warped up blade! Came out nice and straight.

Here's a pic of the top side.

Looks very nice and very practical. But where do you find tactical tomatoes ?

Yeah that's darn nice Clint..., perfect size for much of the normal kitchen stuff in my opinion. 8" blades get in my way for lots of kitchen cutting. Very nice...
