Just finished this one for a very patient customer. He wanted a small, mean blade; practical for everyday tasks, but also suitable for self defense if necessary.

The blade is forged 80CRV2, 4 1/2" long, and 11/64" thick at the ricasso. The handle is Black linen micarta, and the guard and pin are 416 stainless. The OAL is 9".

This one still needs a sheath, and I'm still not sure how I'd like to approach it. How do you guys like to carry your small fixed blades? Any input would be most welcome and appreciated.

Thanks for looking!

Willie- This is one sweet knife, in all respects. All it needs is a sheath.

That's a slick piece. I've really come to favor a cross-draw sheath for large and small knives alike. Something like Paul Long's Scout sheath - that sits parallel to the belt line at the small of the back - would also be nice for this piece.

Horizontal draw which can be carried at either the appendix side or have the capability to be worn on both the left and right side depending on how the individual wishes.. I believe something near the centerline of the body on a horizontal plane would be the way to go

Cheers Roger! Mr Long's Scout sheath looks fantastic!

Thanks for the input! The ability to be worn on both the left and right side would be good.
