Tactical wave sheath?

I have just bought a wave, was trying to get in before our crazed politicians ban them as flick knives here in Oz, great tool really happy with it. Now the sheath it came with was a leather and nylon affair, but it like a bottomless pocket on the front and two loops on either side of the sheath, my question is what are they for? a torch maybe? or the bit kit? problem is neither one has a bottom and stuff will just fall out, confused.

Some people put a small flash light or pen in it. If the head of a flash light is thick enough, then it won't fall.

The slim pockets are for the bit extender, as far as I know.

The hole in the bottom of the sheath is so you can put the Wave in with the pliers nose-down.

I carry a charge in the same sheath. In one pocket I keep a single AAA fenix flashlight with lanyard and in the other side goes a fire steel also with lanyard. I have never had either come close to falling out even when I was doing machine maintenance in a high production factory.

maglight micro size works well also - single AAA battery size - mine has a small lanyard to help with retention

The part on the back is for the bit kit and the sides can pretty much be used for anything. I have a small framelock knife down 1 side and a LM monarch 300 flashlight down the other....The hole in the bottom is so you can put the tool in the sheath while the pliers are open.

The one in the back is normally used to hold the scope mount wrench that comes with a MUT. The front is for the extra bit holders. But really you can put whatever you like in them.

Edit: that is, if you have the MOLLE sheath, if you have the wave sheath then disregard this message.
