I'm not sure if I showed this one yet or not, it's one I ground and had heat treated a while back, but due to some rust spots I couldn't get a nice finish. It layed in a tub of oil with other projects till I got a bead blaster and I figured why not?

ATS-34, hollow ground, bead blasted blade and green canvas mycarta handle slabs.

Looks good Will! Does the bead blaster have anything to do with the Gun Kote on your Afghanistan knife?

It was worth finishing. Looks great Will. ;)

Thanks, yea I used the bead blaster on both it and the Afgan knife. Though on the Afgan it was to dull the finish and make it easier for the Gun Koat to stick.

It was bead blasted with 80 grit glass.

I would have prefered a handrubed or mirror finish, but there were a couple of rust pits on the thin part of the hollow and it was to thin to grind out. Nothing major, just cosmetic.

BTW, you never let the enemy-err game warden- know about your night ops! :p
