It seems that I have now caused some kind of controversay. This was not my intention, nor was it to be disrespectful to anyone. I am a cop, someone whose every waking breath on duty is scrutinized by people who have no idea what its like to do the job. Further, When you do something right they look for what you did wrong, when something goes wrong they laugh and expect it and say "see those police are all bad" All this makes it very hard to trust people in general because you always have your guard up. The point is when I find someone that I can trust, I like to give them credit. TAD has given me great deals on gear and knives, they deliver fast, often mailing to my station overnight, and they rarely charge me extra shipping and they take the time to talk to me for a few minutes and give me descriptions or whatever info I might want. I think this is deserving of PRAISE. I am not singling out TAD to inflame anyone, I have posted about others, JOE ESTRADA who is ACES with me another top guy, also about SOE and the excellent gear they make, strider related gear, and Mick and Duane themselves who i have gotten excellent service from. I posted this to let other guys who may be in a similar situation-cops, swat, spec-ops military, other guys that give of themselves every day to protect the very people that accuse them. I posted to let these guys who may also be looking for trustworthy folks know, that there are those out there to be depended on, who know what we do and try to help us any way they can. This was my only intent behind the post, and I will continue to post about positive experiences with honorable men for as long as I have privilages to do so.
