I am looking at picking up a Dauntless MKII or MKIII and am wondering for those of you who have owned both if you have a suggestion on which one is possibly better as far as build quality, finish, and/or collectability/desirability. Any thoughts or comments welcome.
Thanks.

Haven't had a Mk2, but I have a Mk3 and I love it, excellent fit and finish. Definitely going to pick up a Mk4 when they are released.

I've had all 3 versions... The only one I still have is a green Mk2. No special reason, just personal preference for the color and weight. I like the beadblast over the stonewash :)

All three were equally well made, I would have no worries about getting a quality knife from TAD. Only collectibility may be in the prototype versions or early numbered versions

Like Lost Cosmonaut said, the upcoming Mk4 will be a nice variation on what is already a pretty great knife :D

Nice. Thanks for the heads up amdmaxx!! I actually picked up a Mint NIB MKII Green that should be here tomorrow. I am mixed on the bead blast vs. stonewash so the MKIII was probably my first choice but they seem to sell for a little over the price of the MKII. I am tempted to buy an MKIII at Retail price now BUT I also was fortunate enough to score a Hawk Dauntless Prototype in Green, so all of a sudden my cash flow is low. That knife may have to be sold however so I can make some $...
