Here are new pictures with the just arrived 64oz Kleen Kanteens. At 4.5" wide, they fit snug but well in this pouch. 64oz of liquid, 2 full Nalgenes worth, in a single bottle, on a long outing is nice to have.
As first posted, this easily accepts a Standard Guyot nested in a GSI or 700 Ti SP with a small or medium fuel can and fully latch shut.
The 64oz KK is 4.5 wide by 9 1/4 tall with the flat cap, 10.0 tall with the loop cap. All the other bottles shown are 3.5 wide with different heights. Any bottle you see in this post fits.

My goal of one water bottle kit for any bottle I have is complete. The advantage over the MaxP12X5 for me is the top that has no zipper which I found to be a pain on the MaxP bottle holders. The TG Round Pouch has a strap and latch that is adjustable. The front of the top cover is longer allowing you to have taller items inside and still be able to latch the top.

Pictures:

Both 64oz bottles, one with the stock cap (in pouch) and one with the flat cap with popup ring (far right).

Inside the Round Pocket is a Guyot nested in a cup with small fuel can.

With above contents inside, fully latched.

On this pouch are two Tad Gear Recon pouches and a iComm pouch on the front. The iComm will also ride on the 2" strap i borrowed from my MaxP Aggressor Bag.

Other bottles that all fit no problem. 48oz Nalgene on left, Standard Guyot in middle and 40oz Kleen Kanteen on right. All are 3.5" wide.

My Skookum slips in along with any 3.5 inch wide bottle. (Nalgenes are 3.5" wide)

Picture of the Tad Gear Round Pocket without pouches attached.
The Recon pouches can ride on my belt if I choose to carry the Round Pocket Bottle Holder on a strap by itself. The Recon pouches have their own built in straps.

Stock strap/rear shot. Can be attached to the side of a pack without any Tac-Ties or malice clips as it has it's own strap system attached.

Inside is padded/insulated.

Bottom has a drainhole grommet.

TG RDDP1 Folding Dump Pouch on front. This pouch is sized for a standard nalgene but it has generous extra room. The picture 5 below shows a Guyot nested in a cup inside with the top cinched shut. There was still room to slip my Bushcraft paperback in it with both those items. I might use this just for an extra cup and bottle but the main purpose is for snacks and such while out. It will hold alot but folds up to a very small footprint.

Damn, I had my Maxp bottle holder setup all planned out too:(

This looks like a very nice product. If you were to attach a pouch or two to the molle webbing, would the pouch have to contour to the shape of the holder, as opposed to the Maxped holder that has flat sides?

I was --> <-- that close to hiting SEND and ordering
the maxpedition 10x4 kit!
Thanks for puttin the kibosh on that! ;)
This pouch looks very nice!
Is it much bigger that the max 10x4 since you had/have both?
Do extra pouches attach with those tactie strap things like maxped?
Im gonna hold off putting my order in until I see your writeup.
Thanks much for the pics and review.
Might wind up saving me from myself .

That's a good question.
The TG Recon pouch I ordered looks to be the same overall size as the MaxP M1 waistpack that most attach to their MaxP bottle holders.
The lack of a built in front pouch on the TG Round Pouch probably won't have any effect on exterior pouches fit as it is slightly bigger measured arround. I tried many pouches on my MaxP bottle holders and none countoured perfectly to it.

I found that the front pouch on the MaxP's could only accommodate very small items after the water bottle and cup were inserted into the pouch. I disliked the overall tight fit inside and out.

I just noticed, with the shoulder strap included with the TAD pouch, it's about the same price as ordering the Maxped with a shoulder strap. Damn, I think I might be sold on this bad boy.

:EDIT: With the Guyot/cup combo, can you feel it rattling/moving around inside the pouch?

No rattle. The insulation seems to fill up gaps and easily compact down when bigger items are slid in.

Just slightly taller than the MaxP 10X4 and noticably shorter than the 12x5 and a little more girth than both.

Should fit anything setup for the MOLLE system. MaxP Tac-Ties or Malice clips.

i would love to get some tad gear but its way out of my budget until i win the lottery, nice set ups by the way love how clean it looks as well

The TG bottle holder which includes a strap is $10 more than the MaxP bottle holder that doesn't come with a strap or pad. Add these and your at about even.

If they are made like this bottle pouch is then I think it's worth the cost.

That is a great looking pouch!!!!!

And I love the fact that it is made in the USA!!!

From what I have been able to learn, TG will not be made in the U.S. for much longer.
