Tad Lynch Bowie

Well last year I broke my beloved Laredo Bowie so I thought I would go for something a little more up market and contacted Tad about making me a Big Bowie knife and he kindly obliged and this knife shall be heading to me soon

First off I sent a few little sketches of the kind of thing I was looking for:

Then Tad got on the anvil and came up with this:

Which ended up as this:

The blade is W2 and the fittings are wrought iron etched and blued

I've had him make me one of his Turkey Mountain choppers in 52100, and it is one my favorite knives.

I have to admit I was a little nervous using the JS stamp for the first time--I'm used to etching my mark.
