I hope the new year is going well for you guys! I know mine is!

We have a couple of Tad Lynch, JS knives for you to admire. I'm a big fan of Tad's work. I love the raw steel combined with great fit and finish. Paul's sheath compliments the fighter perfectly. Remember to click on the images to enlarge & click again to zoom in. Enjoy!

Great to see the fighter in all its glory. Tad and I had some good chats about it and for those interested Ard Rí is Irish for "high king" and I couldn't think of a better knife for a king to have on his belt that this beauty. The walnut is just phenomenal.

Looking forward to when it makes its way over here to be with its brother.

Tad made this as a match to this one he forged for me a while back. It's a perfect sized, balanced and proportioned fighter and think I may have to get another pair only stag this time.

Cool knives. Love the fighter. I know Tad really likes Turkish walnut and it's not hard to see why.

Both very nice as are the images.
That's some beautiful grain pattern in the Turkish Walnut.

Tad took a folder and made it really look like his with that blade shape. I like the folder, especially the steel.

Beautiful knives on all accounts.

I don´t think I´ve ever seen better looking piece of walnut on a knife.

Great knives Tad. That fighter is awesome, love the wood handle.

I don't recall seeing any folders from you before but it has your recognizable style to it right off the bat.

Nice knives.

Caleb- the photos are superb as usual.

Thanks, Caleb, for the great images.

Philip, again, cool design on the fighter!

Thank you to everyone else for the comments! I appreciate it.

That piece of Turkish walnut is a nice piece of wood--I have a pretty good pile
of really nice examples of it and that one was a standout.

The folder is basically just something I wanted to try--had a couple of drawings
I just wanted to fool with. Just kind of playing around and finally finished it.

Tad

Both are fantastic pieces!

that fighter is uber badass. The guard is large, but it totally looks right. That's hard to pull off.
Good to see you enter the folder world, Tad! She's a beauty.

Philip, again, cool design on the fighter!

Tad

I think the credit still really goes to you for the design. My mediocre drawing only got the cells clicking. Any design is only as good and as better as the maker who brings it to life and you did an ace job on both of these.

I have to add that the Walnut used on the fighter is amazing. One of my favorite woods and this is a spectacular piece.
