Tagging (mentions) not generating notifications

Since the new software update, I have not been getting notifications for posts that I am tagged in. After asking around, there are others seeing the same issue. I have verified that my preferences have alerts enabled for all mentions on the forum. Is there something else that I’m not thinking of?

is it just the @ function, or is it when you are quoted, also.
I know the quote thing is working for me. I don't normally get tagged, so I don't know if that works.
 
Quoting works, it is just the @ function. It also looks specifically to be in threads I have not posted as I did get a notification this afternoon that I was mentioned in a thread that I had posted in previously.
 
Also a thing to try may be to go to your profile settings, disable notifications, log out, then log back in and reenable them. Just guessing, but I know that this work with some other technical issues I have sometimes on my phone or computer.
 
I use a computer running Linux and Brave Browser. Brave is Chrome based.
Works with Firefox, too.
 
Sometimes this happens to me too. I do believe that if the post is edited to include @ so and so after it’s been posted, it doesn’t generate a notification.
 
I’ll test it now.
