Tags???

O.K. I'm not quite a "newbie" but I'm not an "old timer" either. What exactly are these "TAGS" that Boss Hog posts about every now and then? :confused: And are there any near CA?
 
I'm in the same boat as you... but from what I can tell... he hides a tag, typically worth $300 or $500 towards a custom shop order, drops a few clues... and sets the hogs and piglets loose to find them.

He's hit Cali a couple of times in the past... Atlanta... but as far as I can tell, nothin' in the north east! :(

Yes... INFI too... seals it up in a PVC tube and buries the treasure... rarely ever found.

Thanks Lil'Foo. I see that the Boss posts here when he hides a tag an/or INFI. When they are found are the threads updated to indicate that so we are not looking for one that has not been found?
 
Sometimes... but mostly not. But that adds to the fun in trying to find it. :D

Should be -- but not always immediately. I found the spot where a $100 tag used to be... Thankfully it was only a one hour drive that time...

It's like an Infi scavenger hunt, kind of fun!
 
Sounds cool. I'll have to use the search function and see what's here in CA. I see there is or was one in Los Angeles. I gotta find that thread.

Lil' Foo--Think we could somehow bribe Boss Hog to make a Tag Trip up this way? Maybe a couple cases of Sam Adams (you can't drink Whiskey ALL the time), a few lobsters, some fried clams, a big gift certificate to Dunkin Donuts....... :D

I'm trying to figure out an angle for that too... I'm to the point I want to offer that I'll hide the tag for him... I wouldn't be able to participate in the hunt... but I would have fun makin' it hard for the rest of to find it. :D :D :D

I didn't realize you were in Peabody... I'm going to put out a N.E. Hog rally thread soon. Dave (aka fox, mulder, HOG :eek: :D ) and I have been talkin' about it for a bit... we're thinking somewhere in souther New Hampsire. Would you be in?

Don't forget about me boys! I'm not next door, but I'm right around the corner! I'm sure we could entice the Boss to make a trip up our way. :D

Jerry: If you get the urge to plant one in the Los Angeles area I'm your man. ;) That way you can avoid the drive-by's and car jackings. (It's not that bad here).
 
I thought that there still is a "Nuclear Payload" in Cali?? Does Evolute have the clues?
