Tai posted this recently and it really spoke to me. He simply designated it as 4/2011 but it's mine now and without thinking too much about it, a name for it popped into my head - Mystere. Mystere should sport an accent over the first 'e' but I don't know how to do that here. It means mystery (not mysterious, just mystery).

OAL is 10.5 in. Blade is 6 in. Materials are 1095 steel, sterling silver fittings and Cocobolo handle.

Eat yer heart out... ooops!, I mean ENJOY. ;)

I really like how Tai can change directions, yet tie his work back with previous works and have it be distinctly his. Y'all can see his influence in what I make, certainly.

I think that's my favorite one in his new series. Good score! Enjoy (ya lucky so-and-so...) :D

I'd say that was an appropriate name Buddy.

VERY nice picture! It has a nice dimensional effect. It appears like the handle is extending out of the screen, and shows the grain of the wood.

Works for me, too. Like you I love his pieces.

The photo is Killer!

You put an accent over an e by typing option+e, then e.
Thanks Evolute, but I need the accent to go the other way. That's were I got stuck - revealing the keyboard's alternative characters and selecting among them, probably using option + ? and then hitting the appropriate key followed by the 'e' - but I'm guessing.

Mystère... Got it. I never actually used the keyboard viewer before. Pretty cool.

Cool knife, love the Spanish Notch on top!! If you look at the knife up side down it has resemblance with a Mediterranean Dirk.....very cool.
