Tailfin Folder - First Use of Carbon Fiber

Well finally broke down and bought some carbon fiber. Here is one of my first with CF handle.

Spces:
Blade Steel - CPM154CM
Blade Length - 2 3/4"
Closed - 4"
Open - 6 3/4"
Bolsters - Damasteel
Handle - Carbon Fiber
Liners - 0.050" Ti Anodized Blue

That looks great, Sean. No more O'Hare knives mark?, it looks nice. Is that Bjorgman twist pattern on the Damasteel bolsters?

Cool folder. I like how high the pocket clip rides. The damasteel is interesting looking.

I think this knife would look a lot better with a disk instead of a stud.

That's a fine looking folder I think it really would suit some black lip mop somewhere though .
That's just my live of mop though maybe an inlayed cut on the Cf perhaps it would contrast well IMO .
But that is as it stands a lovely piece.

The Ohare Knives logo was too large for some of my smaller folder well I thought it was anyways so I had this smaller one done. Still came out larger than I had wanted but is smaller than my original ones. I am thinking of moving over to this new stencil on all of my knives.

Yep that is Bjorkman twist on the bolsters. I've had a small piece for a little while was saving it for the NY show in the fall but my client asked for an upgrade on the bolsters and this pattern seemed to be the right match so....

I'll have to play around with a disk and see how it looks.
