Andrew organized a Raffle on Facebook to benefit Breast cancer. The steel was donated by Aldo Bruno, Andrew Takach (Takach Forge) made the knife and Matt Berkhouse made the sheath. They held a raffle for the knife on Facebook and raised over $1000

I purchased some chances because my life has been directly impacted by the horrible effects of this disease. I was the lucky winner of the knife...

I was not planning on winning, so I asked Andrew to send it to me so that I could take some photos and I would forward it to a particular lady that showed great interest in the knife and donated a large sum to support the cause. She does not know it is headed her way!

I just wanted to say to those that donated... Thank you for doing this!

That is so cool for all involved. Well done gentlemen.
A fantastic looking knife for a great cause. You guys are the best.

that's awesome! Efforts like this really represent the industry well. Lots of people involved in custom knives care a lot about other things and are generous souls.

Congrats to the lady that gets the knife. I know she appreciates it.

I am the very, very lucky "particular lady" who cried at the Post Office this afternoon when a box arrived with this gorgeous knife and sheath in it. While I question the use of "lady," I know it is just because Ryan doesn't know me real well. :p To say that I was shocked, amazed, and overwhelmed by the generosity of the makers of this knife and sheath, and to Ryan for gifting it to me - would be very much an understatement.

Ryan, you are awesome. You told me that this knife was headed elsewhere, and I was so happy that you had won and that you were gifting it to the other person. But at this moment, I am going to be very selfish and say that I am glad that you mis-addressed the box and it ended up in MY Post Office Box. :D

Andrew - Thank you for organizing the raffle that raised so much money. I was delighted to learn of it so I could donate. Aldo Bruno - thank you for donating the steel. And Matt Berkhouse - the sheath rocks. I love how you made it deeper on the sides so that the knife slides in so sweetly.

This shall be my new EDC large. The peanuts are going to be a little intimidated, but they'll get used to Pinky.

Thank you again,

TJ
