Hey Guys I have been a member here for a while...but I don't post much.....usually just reading and learning from some very experienced people on here.......PLEASE can one of you help me??

I am sending my Gerber Venture for some Anodizing...but I think we may have trouble getting it apart because of the 3 prong screws.

Does anyone please have any suggestions??? PLEASE HELP!!!! THANK YOU IN ADVANCE

Sincerely,

Scott D.

shadowmed, I am not clear as to to what '3 prong' screws you are referring to, other members may not be as well, a picture would help folks make a recommendation.

Good luck--Don

The two sizes of Microtech tri-wing bits from BladeHQ may fit those, but they're all out of stock atm (and pricey when in stock). I really dislike non-standard screw heads like that. I suppose you could make your own tools out of wooden dowel and some small gauge nails or something. They'd only need to last long enough to get it apart and back together once.

For reference, here's what the MT bits look like:

thank you both so much...I will try these out....yeah I did think about the MT wing bit driver.....but you guys are very creative....I knew you would help....ty again
