Taking a break from traditionals... need a Small

For the past year I've become immersed in traditionals. Love the classic looks and whole "slow down" vibe that comes with them.
That being said, I've been jonesing for a small Sebenza to go with my large Insingo Micarta.
When not carrying my Large or traditionals I've got my small Ritter Grip (yellow).
Want something more classy and refined to replace it, so in steps the small Sebenza.

My big problem is deciding how to go on this one. I want to keep it simple so either plain vs micarta and clip vs insingo blade.
I always thought the micarta would be most beneficial on a small to aid in grip while opening, but I could be wrong.
Please weight in with you opinion.

Thanks,
John

Well, since you already have a large micarta Insingo, it looks like you need little brother for a matching set :). I carry a LH small plane jane and don't have any issues opening at all. The micarta maybe a tad bit easier to grip. The finish on the plane is blasted and provides plenty of grip. I pierce more than I slice, so the clip point works better for me.

I would go micarta as well. I found the small was too small to comfortably open one handed with just plain Ti slabs.

The small micarta is a great knife(though nothing wrong with the plain Jane). I personally like clip point knives.
