Hey Guys...

This is for all you Workoholics who spend more time in the shop than anywhere else..

You know who you are, and I'm one of them....!!

When you spend too much time in the shop and not getting enough rest, and leisure time you can start making Really stupid mistake...

Case in point. Have a peek at our brand new camper we just got almost 3 weeks ago.

Well on Saturday evening after working all day with very little sleep the night before, I decided to waterproof the inside tent windows with a spray bomb waterproofing. After letting the fumes settle down a little I start working on the large middle window...

Oh, whats that ?

A big long thread that's been bothering me getting jammed in the zipper. Well I'll take care of that and whip out my trusty Bic.

Poof.. Fireball inside the camper.. Oh $hit,, Big fireball..
You never seen my fat a$$ move so fast for the fire extinguisher...

I cannot believe I just did that.. What a Phucktard!! Just incredible I would do such a stupid move.. Not only could I have burned the entire camper to the ground,, I could have killed myself or worse,,badly burned..

Luckily it only got my arm hair and some on my head, and I had enough witts at the time to put it out.

Just a little reminder and a HeadZup to pay attention to what you are doing guys... A stupid mistake I wouldn't normally have made.

Stressed out, over worked, under payed, and lack of sleep can kill you guys.. Take a Break when you get fried from work, don't make dumb as$ mistakes like I just did...

Tomorrow the camper goes in the shop for a new $1200.00 tent canopy, the only thing that was damaged,, then I'm Phucking off for a couple of days up north before I have a stroke or fall asleep into the grinder...

You could have shot it with RW's .50 and really made it go bang! ;) Glad to hear you didn't go up in flames. When do we get to see your knives over hear, buddy? Have fun up nort, ya!

Hello, Eric

Save the heat for the kydex sheathes! Or were you triyng to mould one over yourself???
Seriously, now, I know very well what you are saying and, under similar conditions, have messed up with the finish of one of my best knives sofar menuts before it should have been delivered to its owner. As a matter of fact, I am still fixing it.

Lucky for me, I'm LAZY! :D

I'm glad you got out with only a little singed hair - being a burn patient would be about the worst thing I can imagine... Have a nice couple days off and get ready for more major production!

What were you thinking?

What's with this time off stuff? From what I hear, all you do is lollygag around. Why do you need time off from that? :p

Geez Eric!!!

Glad you're okay dude... that could have been nasty!

I'm with you, I'd rather get taken "out" than make it and be burned all over. Well, that's how you wrote it, and that is how I feel anyway.

Stay safe :)
