I propose a new rule. No posting in peoples sales thread about ANY RULE VIOLATION. There is no reason this cannot be done by DM. The virtue signalling in here is TOO MUCH and since the people doing it love rules so much it will take a rule to end it.

This thread is a testament to why we need a rule change. Notification by PM is not permission to break the rules and mods can still lock the thread after a predetermined period of time without compliance.

I find it more of a testament to how the BF community bands together to challenge a Karen who''s only here for the Exchange.

I think it's the people that think the site is only an exchange site and don't participate much or at all in many cases in other areas that have caused the biggest problems and the most demands.

I bet you're one that would cry the loudest if you got burned on the exchange and here you are crying about rules made to protect members ... if you made a mistake say thanks for the reminder , I'll get that fixed and be thankful the unpayed mods care enough to watch out for folks.

I suggest you log off and find somewhere else if you find the rules too onerous.

And the next time you call one of my colleagues a Nazi, I'll hit you with an infraction or two so that you'll have no choice but to find another place to haunt. The moderators you abused with your comment are unpaid, and volunteer their valuable time to help administer this site. Many hours per day, per week, per month, per year.

What have you done to make this a better and safer place for all?

And this is part of why I say that it's on everyone to help uphold the rules, because mods are often unpaid.

Lock your sales threads and only accept comms through DMs. Serves two purposes 1. alleviates your concern and 2. you are only dealing with paying members.
Then only he / she / it, (I'm not presuming pronouns), or one of the moderation staff can continue to post in the thread.

And we will continue to post the link to the rules within the thread as it helps others become cognizant who aren't aware, (because, let's face it, very few actually read the rules, and there's only so many hours in a day for us to address the matter ad nauseum).

If you take the time to write a sales thread that meets the requirements of the exchange rules, nobody will offer to correct you in the thread.
Problem solved.
