Taking apart a Leek?

I'm planning on swapping the blade from my Damascus Leek when I get it into the handle of my s30v polished g-10 Leek when it gets here. My one concern though is taking it apart. The A-O makes me fear for both my fingers and putting the thing back together again.

Has anyone done it? Is it any harder than any other knife to assemble?

It's pretty easy to do, just make sure you have the blade open when you disassemble it. It doesn't have to be locked open, but you want to make sure that the tension is off the torsion bar.

Same thing applies when you reassemble it, easiest to put it back together with the blade open, but not locked.

The damascus blade with the polished G-10 handles should look really nice, please be sure to post some pictures.
