I need some help takng apart a SS endura 4, I just want to be able to switch out the blades with my other endura 4s, and I just can't seem to get the dam hidden rivets out for the life of me. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, J.

The SS Endura 4 is not designed to be taken apart. What blade are you attempting to swap out and why ruin an otherwise good knife?

My advice would be cease and desist immediately, if it isn't too late already. I don't know what size the pivot pin is on the SS models, but I would bet against it being the same size as the screw type pivot on the FRN models. The blades will not interchange.

Looking on the bright side...you now have a reasonable excuse to purchase another knife.

Thanks for the heads up, I changed my mind after using it today and showing it off while waiting for a response from you guys. I don't think I'll ever try to do that again. The only thing I did to it was put a blunted off nail to the pivot and hit it with a hammer a few times. Nothing happened, so I guess it is built like a rock :o. Great knife and all it has now is two or three scratches from where the nail was.

the only way to disassemble a SS spyderco makes it a permanent modification. i dont even recommend taking apart the regular enduras. They are a terrible bi$%& to get back together without ruining the back spacer
