June is close to being full, (although I am making every effort to get ahead of schedule), so I am going to start taking July orders now. There is one spot left in June, so whoever wants it, gets it!

I'm glad to see orders for your knives doing well. I guess it was only a matter of time till people started realizing the quality of a JK !

Hi john, et al.
so, i have been looking at your knives since i joined BF a month or so ago. i would like to get on the order list. BUT...not sure exactly what to order. i am looking for opinions from you and the folks that frequent this forum.

here's my deal....i do not even own a fixed blade knife yet (though i have a laconico EDC en route), so i do not have much personal experience to make my decision with....besides what i am learning here. i think i like the smaller knives. i.e. about a 3 in blade but with fullsize handle (at least a 4 in handle).

the two knives i am drawn to are the riverwoods companion and the potawatomi slim knecker. i am leaning more towards the riverwoods, but i love the overall shape of the potwatomi. i just wonder if i would like the slimness of the "necker."

so, i have two questions....
1) what does everyone think? looking for opinions on the riverwoods and the potawatomi.
2) John: i am wondering if you would consider making a potawatomi knife with a "full-thickness" handle. i think i might like that. i.e. i love the shape of the potawatomi (blade shape, finger choil, etc.). what do you think about that?

thanks guys.

Of course I would do a full thickness handle, I`m easy ! I`ll let the guys who have these speak on their merits. I suggest you start a new thread on this, it might get noticed more that way.

Hi TPVT
I see we r New England Neighbors, i'm A little north of Bean town. I'm waiting for my first knife from John and after seeing all the good things in the forum about his work ; it is his interest and how he treats his customers as friends that it really make a difference. I'm sure I 'll order again

Email is always best.

I ordered a Small Nessmuk and currently considering what my next one will be. I have some ideas about building up a set of outdoor JK knives. A traditional Kephart?
We did not have a winter around here....

hi john. just sent you an email. please let me know if you don't receive it. i know i have tried to email before and the person did not get it. so, just want to make sure my acct is set up for it. thanks much.

Could I just reserve a slot for July. I'm still undecided. Something 1/4" thick, tactical and choppy/stabby.

If I can't reserve John, let me know; I'll pick something.

Steve

You may reserve a slot. 1/4" thick can get pricey, 3/16" is cheaper. Send an email to hold a spot.
