Taking some good advice...

I was having an off- day yesterday. To top it all off I had a run in with a rather ignorant individual and was put in a little bit of a mood. So I decided to take the first advice that Psyop ever gave me.... If anybody ever questions my EDC of a BK2: pitch a tent in your backyard and have a camp-out.

All the leftover wood from the ice storms we had here made for some easy pickings on wood and the BK2 took care of the rest. After my son got up from his nap he came out and joined me by the fire for a bit. The only one problem I had was because it was -20C out my beer froze half way into drinking it and I had to put it closer to the fire to keep it from freezing again.

Nothing like a good little fire and your boy to turn a crappy day into something great.

nice. i did the same thing sat. it was chilly here.. (fl) had a fire in the backyard. the bk2 and bk11 helping with the wood/kindling and spent some time playing with my daughter.... well needed therapy. :thumbup:
 
Becker therapy indeed. Glad you were able to break out of the funk. I use my BK2 to de-stress as well. Just tonight my wife said "you realize we have OTHER knives, right?"

I'm out in Milton. That was Keith's red amber loger. Got a mixer pack before Christmas have to say I like it.

You right downtown Gmoneyluv or just in the GTA?

Cool! We occasionally go climbing in the Milton area. We're right in the core - at the hiptard haven of Ossington and Dundas. Do you ever make it down this way? It would be good to meet and have a beer!
 
If you cross the bridge and head to Watertown to spend all your money in our mall send me a pm...stop by for a beer...
 
I got a few buddies that are in the core but I don't go downtown very often. I can't stand the traffic :(

The escarpment is 10min from my place :) love the trails out here. Its a nice balance between 'burb and a little green space.

Sportsman show is feb 6-9 my next trip down town. I'm thinking the Saturday or Sunday.
 
Heck, if your beer was freezing, you should have put it in that handy all season microwave you've got there.:D
 
Good clean fun :thumbup: Much better than popping a pill or spending $200/hr on "therapy".

A corn cob pipe is a must have. I have 2, and love 'em both. Good smokers. After I got done eating in the woods, I sat back with my pipe, nothing but he sound of wind in the trees, and the sun in my face. Very relaxing.
 
Lots of fields around my place. Next season I think I'm going to have to make a few! I have a few non-cob pipes but have never tried a cob.

I agree James! A little Becker/ Woods Therapy beats anything out there.
 
That definitely is a great way to wind down a day.
If it is so cold your beer is freezing before ya finish it you're not drinking fast enough :)
