Well, I finally did it.

After reading all of your posts on how great the Sebenza is, I finally ordered one myself. I ordered a small Native American through Neil.

Now, how do you guys pass the time while waiting for the knife to arrive

Thank you Neil for being so patient with me!

Congrats on the purchase. There is no way to handle the wait so just be warned and get ready to go a little crazy. You'll check the mailbox or the front porch three times a day until it comes. But oh boy when it gets there you know the wait was worth it. BTW, I have a small Sebbie and it is the perfect EDC (IMNSHO). Enjoy and post a pic or two when you get it.

PS: Maybe we should start a sticky-thread “Support Group” for all the folks who have to wait and wait and wait and wait for their Sebbie (or other CRK product) to arrive. :D ;) :)

I've actually seen watched wall clocks with seconds hands .....stop .....and on occasion even run backwards for a few seconds while awaiting the arrival of new sharp things! Strange phenomenon indeed!!

I'm all over that one! I scored a Sebbie on e-bay on the 23rd of June and I sit peering out the window daily for the mailman to arrive. I get a weekend's rest again as he didn't arrive Friday and there ain't no mail delivery on the weekend.

The reason for the big delay is that I'm up in Canada and the knife has to go through Customs and it's a bottleneck. I always figure on ten working days at least and I'm at that point now.

I'll start: "Hi my name is Zozzie and I'm going through a rough time waiting for my Sebbie." Ok let's work around the circle to the left. :(

Well, I'm happy to say that the wait is over! Neil at True North Knives managed to get it in 2 weeks  He had told me to expect a 4-6 week delay, so needless to say, I'm quite pleased!

The knife is perfect! It looks actually much better live than in any picture I've seen (and Neil's pictures are good!).

Thank you Neil and everyone at CRK!

Congrats!! Glad you like your Sebbie so much. I think you really have to see a Sebbie in person and hold it to be able to appreciate that it is a true work of genius. I hope you enjoy it for many years to come. ;) ;)
